Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

3/4 cup sugar
1.4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
3/4 cup canned pumpkin (works great with homemade as well)
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup chocolate chips (semisweet is what I prefer for this one - use mini if you make mini muffins instead)
Preheat oven to 400, line muffin tins. Mix sugar, oil, & eggs. Add pumpkin & water. Add dry ingredients, mix until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake 20-25 min for regular size muffins.
