My goal was 100, but I came just short at 93 family names. I will take these to the temple to complete baptisms on Tuesday when I take the youth for our temple trip. It will be a fantastic day!
It was a fabulous session and I was able to have a renewing cry. Very spirit filled and well worth the effort I put in. Doing family names has so much more meaning. It is as if you feel little hugs throughout and audible cheers from the family who has been waiting. Nothing like it really. Just love the temple!
seen a groundhog burrowing under your neighbor's front porch?
seen two deer crossing the road in front of your house?
seen ladybugs swarming on a front door?
seen duck, bunny, deer, groundhog, chipmunk, and squirrel road kill all in a week's time?
seen chipmunk roadkill from a bicycle?
seen a ground hog perched on a railroad?
Sweet Talk
H loves to write us notes. Here are a few he has given me recently. "Mom you are nis." "Mom thak you for makn dinr. You are a good mom."
After preparing a box for my brother david on a mission h said: "Mom I can't imagine being on a mission right now. I would miss you so much!" Me too buddy - don't know how I will do that!
Tonight we went to the first presidency devotional. As we were waiting for it to start H said "Mom is the prophet coming in a car?" I think it is so cool that he would actually think the prophet would come to our bldg.
Crazy Talk
C's version of I love to see the temple ends with "this is my sacred booty." not "this is my sacred duty."
"C do you need to go to the restroom?" C replies "Mom, it is called a bathroom, a restroom is only at a restaurant."
C and I were out getting groceries. They had samples out so we tried cranberry pomegranate juice. After she tried it she said "Yuck, that is medicine."
